Vintage Moroccan / Amazigh Berber Coin Necklace – Enamel, French Coins & Colored Stones Beautiful and unusual vintage Moroccan-style Amazigh/Berber statement necklace or pectoral featuring multiple French coin elements, ornate hand-worked metal construction, colorful enamel decoration, and numerous faceted red and green stones. The necklace has several large decorative medallions with intricate green, blue and yellow enamel work, surrounded by red and emerald-green faceted stones. Numerous French coins of different sizes are incorporated throughout the necklace along with dangling coin elements. The construction appears handmade, with individually wrapped and formed metal connections, stone settings and decorative wirework. It has substantial weight and displays very well. Made with authentic silver French coins The red and green stones have not been gemologically tested. They appear most consistent with vintage faceted glass/paste or possibly synthetic stones. I am not representing them as natural ruby or emerald. Condition: Vintage/pre-owned condition with natural patina, tarnish, surface wear and irregularities consistent with age and handmade construction.
