They are carved with pocket knife and rasp from cedar after I did the initial sawing and drilling. These beach birds are of one piece construction with hardwood bills, tack eyes, and the wings are relief carved as shown in the pictures. These beach birds are painted in a gunning style like those decoys of old. Stand is included. These birds measure 5 7/8, 5 3/4 and 5 3/4 inches long from the tip of the tail to tip of the bill, 4 1/2, 5 3/4,and 4 1/2 inches tall, and from 1 3/8 inch stock. They will make a fine addition to any collection. I gladly combine shipping to the USA only at actual cost if more than the first bird.
