Antique   Victorian /   Edwardian   Celluloid   Photo   Album –   circa 1900 Beautiful   early   20th- century   photo   album   featuring   a   decorative   celluloid   cover   with   a   scenic   winter   landscape   and   embossed   floral   details.   Albums   of   this   type   were   popular   during   the   late   Victorian   and   Edwardian   period   and   were   often   used   to   display   cabinet   cards   and   family   photographs. This   album   features   a   brass   clasp   closure,   gilt   page   edges,   and   decorative   lithographed   interior   pages   with   photo   windows   designed   for   period   photographs. The   spine   is   covered   in   green   velvet   fabric,   and   the   interior   pages   feature   elegant   gold   printed   floral   designs. Condition: The   album   is   in   good   antique   condition   overall   with   age- appropriate   wear.   The   brass   clasp   functions   properly.   Some   scuffing   and   surface   wear   are   present   on   the   covers   and   edges   consistent   with   age.   Pages   show   toning   from   age.  The first page photo  window  opening is torn (see photo).
