Very good condition. if you look closely at it on one side, there are a couple little tiny pit marks that would have been made during the firing process of making it. those are In picture 2 and the last picture. vintage. You can also see the brown tint. I always thought it was black when it was on the shelf in the house, but I took it outside to get pictures and it looks dark brown with the greenish tint so I don’t know whether to say it’s black or brown. It does have green eyes. The gold foil marking has been removed, but it looks similar to some I’ve seen marked Japan. 7.5 inches from tip of tail to head, 5 inches tall, the circular base is 4 1/2 inches by 3 1/2. I purchased this at an estate sale a long time ago so I really don’t know what it was used for. Condition: Used. Category: Pottery & Glass › Other Pottery & Glass. Brand: Unmarked.
