It will make a fine addition to any collection. Here is a nice Hand Carved Antique Style Alert Snowy Egret Confidence Shorebird Decoy carved by myself (Sam McKamie). It is carved with pocket knife and rasp from cedar after I did the initial sawing and drilling. This beach bird is of two piece construction of cedar with a hardwood bill, tack eyes, and relief carved wings that are elevated and split at the tail as shown in the pictures. This beach bird is painted in a gunning style like those decoys of old. Stand is included. This bird measures 14 7/8 inches long from the tip of the bill to tip of the tail, 11 5/8 inches tall, and from 1 1/2 inch stock. It will make a fine addition to any collection.
