This is a large scale Chinese porcelain Meiping blue and white contemporary vase featuring a classic imperial motif, white clouds with two five clawed dragons chasing a white flaming pearl. Set against a dramatic background of swirling crashing ocean waves. Meiping shape, narrow mouth, short neck, wide shoulders and body that tapers down. It uses a "reversed decoration" where background is painted in cobalt leaving the dragon and clouds to stand out in natural porcelain The vase is in mint condition with no damages or repairs.
