The stamp "24KGB" on the necklace stands for 24-Karat Gold Bonded . This means the chain is not solid gold . Instead, it is a piece of high-quality fashion or costume jewelry where a thick, durable layer of 24k gold has been mechanically bonded or layered over a base metal (such as jewelers' brass).  The Chain: The structure utilizes a gold-bonded finish to give it the bright, rich appearance of pure 24k gold while remaining affordable and highly resistant to bending (as pure 24k solid gold is generally too soft for heavy everyday chains).   The Pendant: The close-ups confirm that the focal piece is a Murano-style aventurine glass disk (also known as a donut pendant) featuring hand-swirled copper (goldstone) and silver foil flakes layered inside the glass.
