The amber lucite accents are beautiful too. The product is a vintage 1950s SIMON wicker and tortoiseshell pattern Lucite handbag, featuring a classic brown color and a stylish purse design. Vintage,  mid-century wicker/rattan and Tortoiseshell  Pattern lucite Handbag, likely from the 1950's-1960's  era. Woven basket weave Wicker is absolutely beautiful  on exterior!! The amber lucite accents are beautiful too. The piece(top frame) across top has been broken and glued at corner. DARN!!! The interior has a tag: MADE EXPRESSLY FOR SIMON. HAND MADE IN HONG KONG. The plastic liner inside is torn away from the nails at top frame which had held it in place. The plastic also has small tears on ends. Interior has an open pocket on one side and a zippered one on other side. Handbag measures 12" wide x 4.5" deep x 8" high. Handle rises 4.25" above top ofbag. Also, found a vintage plastic rain bonnet inside and some receipts from the 1980's. Can these old purses be repaired???? I hope so!! This one looks so nice from the outside!!
