View 3" Blue Mountain Pottery Creamer Pitcher Made in Canada BMP Blue Green Dip Glaze with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. During the firing process, the glazes would run, creating streaking patterns unique to each piece. Blue Mountain Pottery was started in the 1950s, Not sure when this piece was produced. Blue Mountain continued to produce its wares until 2004 when it closed. Up for Auction is this 3" Blue Mountain Pottery Creamer Pitcher Made in Canada BMP Blue Green Dip Glaze   Vintage Blue Mountain Pottery Pitcher Creamer Blue Green glaze drip.  Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks  The piece measures 3" tall and 4" wide (including the handle). Blue Mountain Pottery items feature a unique, trademarked glazing process known as "reflowing decorating" whereby two different glazes, one light and one dark in color were applied. During the firing process, the glazes would run, creating streaking patterns unique to each piece.  The clay used by Blue Mountain Pottery is red, as you can see on the bottom unglazed ring around the company logo in the last photo.
