Please come back often, as we are always buying more goodies to list on ebay.  This listing is for a gorgeous pair of vintage, Art Deco, Czech glass drop earrings. I can't decide if these are Egyptian Revival, Victorian Gother, Byzantine inspired, or what. They are gorgeous, though!These earrings are long dangles or drops for pierced ears and have lever back closures. The earrings are newer, though still possibly vintage, but made with much older, vintage Czech glass drops. These earrings came from the estate of a collector of Egyptian Revival jewelry. The estate owner, who is a doctor, recently donated a large portion of her collection to a charity, which is how I acquired these. The collector had purchased several pairs of earrings from the same artist, and that artist used vintage, possibly antique, glass in all her creations.  The Art Deco glass drops are just stunning, with gorgeous, cobalt blue, chandelier-like crystals that dangle from the earrings. I really can't begin to describe how lovely these drops are so be sure to look at the photos. There are lots of little added detail also, such as spots of patina from antique finishing on the metal, as well as soldering spots, so that the earrings as a whole look as old as the glass. These earrings are definitely statement pieces, and they dangle to the collarbone. Some elegant ladies can really pull off this look! I am not one of them, but I have included a photo to show how long these dangle from my ears. The earrings measure 4.75 inches in length, from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the glass drop. They measure just shy of 1.5 inches in width at the widest point. The glass is a vibrant, aqua blue color. There's really not enough I can say about these lovely earrings. They are simply gorgeous beyond words, so please be sure to review all the photos and use the zoom feature for better detail, as the pictures are considered as part of the description.
