I always find it helpful to use a small sized round spacer bead between larger hole sized beads.  The small size bead will sit partially into the hole and it helps them to lay flat when strung (it also makes the beads look better I think)! These beads are new and came from my bead shop which I closed when I retired.  I have made countless pieces of jewelry from these beads, mostly pendants and they always looked great and sold well.  Everyone likes blue and foil glass beads are personally one of my favorites!
