Vintage Crazy Quilt Handmade w/ Notes 51" x 53" Extra Fabric Piece For Repairs This is a beautiful handmade vintage patchwork quilt measuring 51" x 53". Better than I've seen in the past.9 squares measuring 17" x 17" each. The quilt features an array of colorful silk, velvet, brocade, and other materials that are stitched together in a crazy quilt pattern. Also embroidery - flowers, children, cute animals & leaves.There are 14 little paper notes tacked to the quilt as to where the particular pieces of fabric originated.Included with the quilt is an extra fabric piece for any necessary repairs; it was stored with the quilt. Last picture.There are some light stains, (4 that I spotted, maybe more).Some of the silk pieces are weak and/or shattered.The back & edging are all silk. A checkered print - green, black, gold, purple. Some worn spots on the back silk. It's knotted with lavender threads.This piece is perfect for collectors of vintage linens and textiles or anyone looking for a unique addition to their home decor.
