In 2-layer silk, measures 14” x 16” (excl. fringe). Stenciled lettering on the obverse spells a rather uncommon for such pennants phrase, “Winner of socialist competition in excellence of quality”. In very good to excellent condition. The silk of the obverse is clean and free of any significant wear or damage. The lettering is intact and retains its original vibrantly golden luster. The fringe is clean and all in place, tightly stitched to the pennant. On the reverse side, the silk has rows of tiny punctures which do not present any structural danger and are not much of an issue because they do not affect the obverse in any way.
