View Antique European Oil On Wood Panel Thatched Cottage Landscape Signed Ornate Fram with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Belgian/Flemish in origin. Found in France. I cannot quite make it out. Beautiful antique European oil painting on wood panel depicting a rustic thatched roof cottage surrounded by trees and countryside landscape. Signed and dated 1926 lower right with “Meerle” which is location I believe. Belgian/Flemish in origin. Rich earthy tones, expressive brushwork, and wonderful old world atmosphere throughout. Presented in an ornate antique gilt frame and ready to hang! Found in France. Artist name is Rambaucheorge or similar. I cannot quite make it out. Painting has some light craquelure but in very good antique condition. Frame has some damage on bottom as shown and also bottom left corner. Some wear markings etc. Still displays beautifully! Please see all detailed photos. Board only measurements followed by full piece in photos. Full piece is 32 7/8” x 22 3/4” and 1 1/2” w. NOTE: this is a large painting over 30” and requires an even larger box to accommodate ample packing material to ensure safe delivery. It is not inexpensive to ship unfortunately. Condition: Used.
