This GORGEOUS cotton 1920's/30's lone star quilt is all precisely machine pieced and hand quilted, with three borders and high quality solid cotton fabrics used throughout (likely "Cloth of Gold"). It measures 78" X 78" and is in excellent, never washed condition, with a couple of light age spots and no wear. The quilt feels remarkably strong and sturdy throughout. There is hand quilting around the piecework and in a elaborate feathered wreath, star, circular, and other designs in the background, all at an even 10-12 stitches to the inch.  The back is white, the hand stitched binding is the same dusty rose pink used in the interior, and the batting is thin.  The PRECISE PIECEWORK, LUSH AND HAND QUILTING, and NICE CONDITION make this vintage beauty stand out -- it would make a terrific wall hanging! .aucCounter a { text-decoration:none;
