This stunning piece features a serene, classic Chinoiserie motif showcasing pastel pink lotus blossoms nestled among layered celadon-green lily pads and delicate foliage. The design is beautifully accented with incised white lining outlining the flower petals and leaf veins, giving the artwork a subtle, elegant raised/enameled texture. Soft, tranquil shades of rose pink, carmine, mint, and celadon green on an off-white background. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs from post-purchase wear. However, please note there is a small, narrow slit in the glaze on the back surface (visible in the center of the provided photos). This is a factory glaze separation/glaze skip that occurred during the firing and cooling process in production, rather than damage from handling. It does not go through the porcelain body and is completely invisible from the front decorative side. Like many vintage items, it may show minimal surface wear or tarnish consistent with age.
