It originated from South California and we were told that it was used very little in a guest room. Medium weight batting. The backing is solid white.Fantastic combination of so many varied prints - and yes the purples and lavenders do stand out - but there are so many different rich colors included on this quilt . Nice hand quilting. A sewing machine was used for the piecework. Excellent condition. Used very little. We haven't seen any holes, tears or fraying. Condition: Pre-owned.
