The Gorham Sterling Silver Antique Art Nouveau Puppy Floral Brooch (Belt Buckle) is a beautifully crafted piece of vintage jewelry from the last decade of 19-th century. Made of  sterling silver, it showcase intricate floral puppy designs in the Art Nouveau style. My guess is that It started its life as a belt buckle, but soon after that, in the early 1900's was turned into a brooch, or perhaps, it was made this way It is large, 2-1/2"  wide and 1-1/2" long and heavy, 30 grams,  It is marked with Gorham silver mark 1890-1900, Sterling, B634.
