The glaze remains smooth and shiny across the piece. Please note there are two small manufacturing flaws on the willow-tree side: a round glaze/ink "skip" where a small dot of the transfer pattern and glaze missed the ceramic during factory production (see close-up photo). It is completely stable, smooth to the touch at the edges, and entirely authentic to the mid-century manufacturing process. The bottom features the classic vintage vertical underglaze blue stamp for Nasco Japan (lightly blurred/smudged from production, as is typical for these pieces). Condition: Used.
