No maker's mark; undated and unattributed. Old carved celadon nephrite jade bangle from an estate collection — a large size, inner diameter 2½" (63.5 mm), round cross-section band 3/8" (~9.5 mm), weight 43.76 g. Carved in relief with two Chinese dragons, the body carried around the band as a rounded, segmented motif. Soft pale celadon-green with the smooth, greasy luster typical of good nephrite. Tests as jade on a gemological tester (not lab-certified); natural colour, no dye evident. Provenance: acquired from an estate 20 years ago and already old at that time; stored away since. Offered undated but genuinely old. Condition — please read: There is an old, stabilized crack at a natural colour junction, with a small chip at that spot. On the tap test it rings clear on one side and gives a softer, muffled ring on the affected side (consistent with an old stabilized line). No metal repair band. Best suited to display or gentle wear rather than hard daily wear. Otherwise smooth and attractive with good presence on the wrist — priced honestly for the flaw. Measurements: inner diameter 63.5 mm (2½"), round band 3/8" (~9.5 mm), weight 43.76 g. No maker's mark; undated and unattributed. Nephrite is not a restricted material and ships worldwide.
