This is a beautifully crafted vintage Chinese cloisonné lidded jar, measuring approximately 2” tall and 1.5” wide. The jar features a vibrant cobalt blue enamel background with intricate hand-applied designs of lotus flowers, lily pads, and a pair of mandarin ducks, a traditional Chinese symbol of love and harmony. The lid is decorated with floral scrollwork and gold detailing. The top rim of the jar is stamped with the letter “S,” indicating a mid-to-late 20th century Chinese workshop production (likely 1960s–1980s). The makers mark is also on the bottom of the piece.
