Offered is a beautiful  antique Valentine’s Day postcard  dating to the  early 1900s (circa 1908–1910) , from the height of the  Golden Age of Postcards , when Valentines were elaborately designed, richly embossed, and often saved as keepsakes. The front features a striking illustration of  Cupid as an archer , poised mid-draw with bow and arrow, framed within a  heart-shaped vignette . Surrounding the scene are  bright red hearts , delicate florals, and shimmering  gold-toned accents , all set against a softly patterned background. At the bottom appears the sentiment  “A Valentine Message” , rendered in ornate period lettering. Cupid imagery was among the most popular Valentine motifs of the Edwardian era, symbolizing  love directed with intention  rather than chance.
