Research told me the company did use real emeralds & gemstones, however I also see pieces made by them that are noted as being lab created. Either way the set is beautiful. The pendant has been paired with a 14k yellow gold, 14” thin chain marked 14k Italy (not made by Griffith & Sons as they originated out of Rhode Island before going out of business in 1981.
