Charming vintage 14-piece Mexican folk-art Nativity set featuring hand-painted miniature clay or pottery figures in cream, gold, pink and black. The set includes Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, wise men, attendants, an angel and assorted animals. Several figures have delicate wire halos, and the tallest pieces measure approximately 3 inches high, including the halos. This set has a wonderfully aged, rustic appearance. It shows substantial paint loss, rubbing, discoloration, surface wear and small chips consistent with age and handmade construction.
