There seems to be an odd collection of 6 ladders. These 3 flake when handled. One of the 3 has a broken leg. The 3 buckets are in near perfect condition. The axe is in great shape but has lost most of its original paint. The Phoenix cast iron fire ladder wagon is a highly collectible late 19th-to-early-20th century antique toy. Produced by the Ives Manufacturing Company. This wagon still works as designed. The 2 horses are connected to a cam that makes them move up and down when pushed. The wheels still have their springs separating them from the yoke and wagon frame. The horses still have their 4 chains connecting them to the yoke. The overall length is about 28 inches. The width is just under 6 inches. There is quite a bit of the original paint but all pieces have some signs of oxidation. See photos. There seems to be an odd collection of 6 ladders. Some of the ladders may be from a different toy. 3 of the ladder still have quite a bit of red paint and are most likely at least some of the original ladders (based on the paint and color condition). The other 3 ladders are smaller and have quite a bit of rust. These 3 flake when handled. So expect some flakes in the shipping. One of the 3 has a broken leg. The 3 buckets are in near perfect condition. The axe is in great shape but has lost most of its original paint. The fire hat on the driver holding the steering wheel has had the rear flap broken off.
