Vintage Tribal Ornate Cylindrical Scroll Box / Prayer Box Pendant Necklace This is a beautiful, vintage t ribal statement pendant necklace featuring an ornate, cylindrical scroll box (also known as a prayer box, talisman holder, or Hirz). The central silver tone pendant / amulet is detailed with traditional floral and scrollwork engraving, accented by hanging coin style dangles and a central red glass bead.   The necklace chain is constructed with a mix of aged metal links, larger red stone beads, and small black, blue, and white accent beads, giving it a wonderfully authentic, nomadic aesthetic.  No clasp, just slips over the head. This is a functional scroll holder.  One of the decorative end caps completely slides off, allowing access to the hollow interior compartment where a tiny prayer, scroll, or talisman can be stored.
