Large and gorgeously intricate scallop-edged Meiji-era Satsumaware charger with scene depicting a brilliantly colored Hanami viewing party lavishly accented with gilt. Reverse is stamped with the mark of the studio and signed by the artist. Platter is in beautiful pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs and one small artifact of kiln ash inclusion in the glaze- see third photo.
