The piece has brown paper backing with a hanging bracket in the center near the top edge to hang from. The piece is signed Sally Anderson with date 1982. There is also a label in the right bottom corner of the back with the name of the artist and her address. Date: 1982. Origin: Purchased at an estate auction in Southeastern Pennsylvania, USA Size: The piece measures ~13 1/8" by ~11 21/8" and weighs about one pound and 15 ounces. Artist: Sally Anderson. Marks: Signed "Sally Anderson 1982" below the strawberries bottom right (see the last two photos). Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a beautiful and very nice decorative primitive Pennsylvania Dutch style folk art piece. It would display very well in your collection or can be used as an accent for your home decor. Condition: The piece is in very good condition with no problems that we could find. The frame has a few scratches and some dings but nothing that old English would not cover. The paper covering on the back is in good condition with only one small puncture, at the bottom right corner of the back, which can be seen in the photo. However, the paper backing is in place and shows no losses. Of course, this paper can be replaced with new paper, but we leave that to the discretion of the new owner. The back is also equipped with a bracket needed to hang the piece. A great piece, ready to hang on your wall and would be a good addition to your collection of folk art.
