Please come back often, as we are always buying more goodies to list on ebay.  This listing is for a stunning, vintage, pink & green enamel, pink crystal rhinestone, floral bouquet brooch signed Weiss. The brooch is gorgeous! It features a lovely bouquet of pink Hydrangea enameled flowers with pink crystals at their centers. The bouquet springs from a green enameled stem and leaves. The back of the brooch and underlying metal is gold plated. The entirety of the front of the brooch is enameled. The brooch is signed Weiss on the back of one of the leaves. The pin, hinge, and closure are all in good working order. The brooch measures 2.5 inches in length and 1.5 inches in width. This brooch is in excellent, vintage condition, with mild signs of age and wear. The enamel looks fantastic, but under magnification, you can see a few places along the edges where the enamel is slightly chipped. This is so minor, though, that you need to look under the magnification of a jeweler's loop to find this. All crystal rhinestones are present at the time of listing. This brooch appears to be a midcentury piece, so with an age of 60 or 70 years, it looks quite amazing. The pink crystals are paste set, and paste tends to grow brittle with age, so I can't guarantee that none will fall out during shipping. If that happens, repasting them is up to the new owner. For security purposes, the brooch will be sealed inside a plastic baggie, so that if any crystals do fall out, they will be captured inside the bag. The new owner should carefully inspect the bottom of the bag for loose crystals before opening the baggie to prevent losing them.  Weiss is known for the quality of their jewelry and artistry of their designs, and Weiss pieces are highly sought by collectors. This particular brooch is classic and whimsical, and for brooch lovers, still fashionable as it was when first made. The pictures are to be considered as part of the description.
