Lot of 26 vintage striped glass melon beads in the African trade bead tradition. Oval/melon-shaped, opaque green glass (a few in turquoise) with a lengthwise stripe design of white–red–yellow–red–white cane glass. Drawn-cane construction with visible strike marks at the ends (consistent with old Venetian or Czech trade bead production, not modern lampwork). Sizes are fairly consistent, roughly 15 mm. Great for restringing, jewelry design, or adding to an existing trade bead collection. Sold as a lot of 26.
