The owl is perched on a sculpted tree-stump base and features wonderfully textured feather detailing, dimensional glossy eyes and hand-painted natural brown, tan and black coloring. The underside retains its original green and gold Masters Series label identifying the piece as #9201 Great Horned Owl and stating that it was handmade in Hong Kong, 1987 . The stump also bears a gold-tone script signature/mark.
