There is no maker's label or maker's mark, but I believe this may be a commercially manufactured piece from the late 1980s. (It is possible that it was handcrafted, but there is no way to know for sure). This chair would be perfect in almost any type of room or shop, and is appropriate across a wide range of time periods.
