Product Information Description TIMEX Snoopy Tennis Vintage Mechanical Watch 1970s Rare This is a very rare TIMEX Snoopy vintage mechanical hand-wind watch from the 1970s, an officially licensed PEANUTS product. Character: Snoopy (officially licensed PEANUTS product). Design: tennis theme, denim-pattern dial. Movement: mechanical hand-wind. The dial shows Snoopy holding a tennis racket; instead of a seconds hand, a clear disc is used so that a 'tennis ball' appears to float around the dial as time passes, a popular mystery-dial gimmick of its era. Winding the crown makes it run and tick normally, and the tennis-ball gimmick rotates smoothly (as a half-century-old antique, accuracy is not guaranteed to modern quartz standards). The original-era denim band is still attached, but as shown in photos there is significant tearing and fraying at the tip from age; a band replacement is recommended for daily use, though it is left as-is to preserve the original-era part.
