ANTIQUE ENGLISH SHEFFIELD STYLE SILVER - LARGE HEAVY HANDLED OPEN ENTREE DISH with feet --- SUPERB WORKMANSHIP - GORGEOUS!  CLASSIC ROCOCO DETAILS, HIGHLY DETAILED ACANTHUS LEAF DETAILS HANDLE --- This wonderful server was used by our family to serve hot rolls, buns etc. wrapped in a napkin.  It would also make a pretty centerpiece. Measures about 14 3/4" be 8 7/8" Piece is marked as shown in photographs. Dinner Party - Buffet Sized - Plating is in quite good condition with expected wear, a tad bit of desirable pretty undermetal bleed and minimal scratching, interior is dark black and as been intentionally left that way. Truly remarkable classic pieces from my Grandmother's estate.  Unique and useful.  Lovely old style piece with superb e legant designs. View our photos to get the full effect. This set was rarely used and is in great condition with age appropriate use evidence etc.   No unusual damage to note -- other than the expected wear -- these items are not brand new and have not been re-plated.   Similar less grand examples retail in antique shops (when found) for hundreds more than our listing price.  We would like someone to have it who would truly value these.  Beautifully crafted with good heft these silverplated pieces were made to last. No longer made, these will be passed along for generations to use.  My mother used this set of items with her sterling flatware, elegance at the table.  Pretty and most useful!
