Side Note : Jacla is Navajo for "ear string". The turquoise beads are rather large. On the necklace they graduate from 18mm to about 9.5mm. (In order to attach them to the necklace, all you have to do is find the center of the necklace and gingerly wiggle the jaclas in, positioning one on either side.). Gorgeous Vintage Pueblo/Navajo Graduated Unisex Turquoise Heishi Necklace and 2 Jacla (Earrings) with Carved Shell ~ Lot of 3 Condition : In overall  VG condition. Rustic with a few chips/polish marks here and there.  //  SEE pictures, as they are part of the description.   Specs : The turquoise has been treated, meaning that in addition to being stabilized (infused with an epoxy-like resin or wax to harden it, because typically, turquoise is a soft stone), dye has been added to enhance its color. The necklace is approximately 32", having a 15" drop-length.  The turquoise beads are rather large. On the necklace they graduate from 18mm to about 9.5mm.   The jaclas are approximately 15", having a 7" drop-length and they  are tied together. (In order to attach them to the necklace, all you have to do is find the center of the necklace and gingerly wiggle the jaclas in, positioning one on either side.) They have coral beads on the ends along with 5 carved shell-tab beads in front. The turquoise beads graduate from 15mm to about 6mm, and it is strung on cotton string.  // ca 1980 or thereabouts. //  Quarter shown for scale.
