"The dye-sublimation process transfers the dye into the substrate rather than depositing it on the surface, resulting in a more permanent image. In addition, because the dye-sublimation process uses heat to vaporize the ink, dye-sublimation ink produces higher-resolution prints than any inkjet." Bright vibrant colors & finely sanded edges .  Faux stained glass is achieved by sublimating an image of a stained glass art print directly on the prepared wood. NO PLATING - Sublimated artwork onto prepared fiberboard (wood).  SURGICAL GRADE STAINLESS STEEL WIRES MEANS -NO PLATING so - NO tarnishing, discoloring, fading, or rusting like plated wires.
