These are created on treated fiberboard (wood) with solid 316 surgical grade stainless steel wires. African Tribal Print Earrings African Art Print Jewelry & Gifts ~ Handcrafted ~ 0.50" x 1.96"   -  12.7mm x 49.8mm Bar Earrings The artwork is printed using an Epson Ecotank professional photo printer with top quality dye-sublimation ink on HTVRONT sublimation paper .  The image is then cut to size and professionally heat pressed onto the prepared medium density fiberboard (MDF) bar shapes.  Image is sublimated on the front with a coordinating solid color on the back. "The dye-sublimation process transfers the dye into the substrate rather than depositing it on the surface, resulting in a more permanent image. In addition, because the dye-sublimation process uses heat to vaporize the ink, dye-sublimation ink produces higher-resolution prints than any inkjet." Bright vibrant sublimated colors & finely sanded edges . Nickel & lead free, lightweight, & solid stainless steel wires make these perfect for sensitive ears. No plating means no tarnishing, no discoloring, fading, or rusting like plated jewelry .   These are created on treated fiberboard (wood) with solid 316 surgical grade stainless steel wires.
