View vintage Stanley #40 bevel edge butt chisel1/4" 1/2" wide old wood carving tool with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Here is a nice pair of old bevel edge butt chisels marked Stanley #40 in good usable condition. There is 1/4" wide with 3 1/2" of blade and 8 1/4" overall. Also a 1/2" with 3 3/4" of blade and 8 1/4" overall.The backs have been flattened and there is a fresh hollow grind on the bevels.Both have black plastic handles as seen and the 1/2" has the logo worn mostly off.
