Standing at a substantial 4.5 inches, this "figural" ornament is a standout piece of American holiday history. Unlike mass-produced versions with flat, painted faces, this snowman features hand-applied 3D glass eyes, "coal" buttons, and a protruding carrot nose. This lampworked detail was more labor-intensive and is highly prized. It is marked "Made in the U.S. of A."  on the cap. This specific metal cap stamp is a hallmark of the early Shiny Brite years when production moved from Europe to the United States. Features original, well-preserved mica snow accents around the neck and base, giving it that classic "frozen" antique look. Condition- In very good vintage condition. The internal silver nitrate is remarkably bright and clear for its age, with minimal spotting. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted. The applied glass nose and buttons are all securely intact.Light, age-appropriate wear to the mica and silvering that only adds to its vintage character.
