DESCRIPTION: Beautiful antique hand-colored wedding portrait of a bride and groom presented in an ornate oval metal frame with decorative floral accents. Based on the clothing, bridal headpiece, formalwear, photographic style, and frame design, this piece appears to date to approximately the 1920s to early 1930s. The bride wears an elaborate period wedding gown and long veil with a striking floral headpiece and carries a large cascading bouquet. The groom is dressed in formal evening attire with a white bow tie, vest, and boutonniere. The photograph appears to have been professionally hand-colored or hand-tinted, with subtle color visible throughout the floral arrangement and other portions of the image.
