They emit light at 120° dispersion angle. Less then one strip (about 12 ft of Bright white strip) is used in this installation. The light output is equal to 5 x 50 watt halogen bulbs. The expected life span is more than 50,000 hours. This isn't cheapest 5050 LED strip on on eBay because it is made to strict UL specifications with name brand LED chips CRI ( RA) 90 allowing proper color perception, light output exceed 20 lumen per LED! 16.4ft long flexible LED light strip with 300 Epistar 5050 SMDs. They emit light at 120° dispersion angle. Color is a Bright White (color temperature 3150K - good match to Bright White CFL light bulbs, no Bluish nor Yellowish tint like some so called "White" LEDs use to emit, see pictures below). Strip consist of 300 pieces 5050 LEDs consuming under 60 watt (12 volt 5 amp DC) while emitting 4800 lumen of light equal to 5x65 watt incandescent light bulbs!  These strips are made as flexible printed copper circuit board 1/2" wide and only 1/8" thick with self adhesive 3M back. Extremely easy to install. Photo below shows an example of kitchen installation - Warm white strip was cut in 3 sections, 1/4" holes were drilled, connecting wires and power supply are hidden in cabinets. Less then one strip (about 12 ft of Bright white strip) is used in this installation. Strip can be cut every 1 -7/8" (3 LEDs), each part can be soldered and powered by the same or additional 12 volt power supply. LEDs spaced less than 5/8" apart, 19 LEDs per ft.  These strips are perfect for kitchen under cabinet lighting, glass door cabinet lighting, accent, picture and decorative lighting, produce brilliant white light! The light output is equal to 5 x 50 watt halogen bulbs. Please do not confuse with low power strips: these are very bright LEDs and you'll need 12 volt regulated power supply capable of at least 6 Amp (6000 mA) output.  Strip shipped with black (-) and red (+) wire leads attached. Optional clamp screw DC connector  2.1 mm center and 5.5mm inside diameter as pictured below can be added for $2.00. The expected life span is more than 50,000 hours.
