This is a solid replacement frame for Stanley's cast iron No. 358 mitre boxes, circa 1920's. It has the sweetheart name plate as well as 1909 and 1912 patent dates cast into the front quadrant. This one was produced in the 1920's but it will work as a replacement for a damaged No. 358 produced between 1911 and WWII. It is also the same size as the frame used on a No. 346 and 360, so it will work as a replacement for those as well. If you have a No. 358 with a damaged frame, this one will make a great replacement. No signs of wear or rust - probably never used. No problems or issues. EXCELLENT: 95-99% of original finish remaining. Very slight wear with no rust. No problems or issues. GOOD PLUS: 85-95% of original finish remaining. Used but well maintained. Scuffs, light wear, very little rust.  GOOD: 65-85% of original finish remaining. Moderate wear and/or rust. Minor deficiencies - owner's initials, nicks, etc. GOOD MINUS: 50-65% of original finish remaining. Has seen hard use, but remains serviceable. Scratches, nicks, dents, cracks, chips, improper replacement parts. FAIR: 25-50% of original finish remaining. Heavy wear and rust. Some parts are broken, missing, or improper - serious flaws.  POOR: 0-25% of original finish remaining. Pitted, abused, heavily worn. Serious damage and missing major parts. Condition: Used.
