This piece represents classic Murano export production created for the international art glass market. The Gondola is formed from hot worked glass, not molded, with individually applied decorative elements along the rim and organically shaped ends.  The rich blue glass exhibits depth and internal movement, with small seed bubbles visible near the base—an expected characteristic of hand worked Murano glass.  The base retains its original paper label reading: “MURANO – Venice – Made in Italy – Hand Made.” The label has been intentionally left intact as part of the piece’s provenance. Due to the presence of the original label, the base has not been inspected for a signature.
