A 1893 - 1895 stunning olive colored wool outfit with gigot sleeves for cold weather wearing, an ice skating outfit. The bodice is decorated with hand embroidery with raised flowers around neckline collar, with deep green velvet double collar lapels. VICTORIAN 2 PIECE WOOL VISITING OR ICE SKATING OUTFIT, 1893 A 1893 - 1895 stunning olive colored wool outfit with gigot sleeves for cold weather wearing , an ice skating outfit. 2 piece in construction dress with large puffed sleeves trimmed with raised floral embroidered trim with deep green velvet at cuff. Some hand stitching with mostly machine stitching. The bodice is decorated with hand embroidery with raised flowers around neckline collar, with deep green velvet double collar lapels. Lined with a tan cotton and with 7 fabric covered rigid stays and has a front hook and eye center closures.  The skirt has a full back sweep and gathers with cartridg e pleats in the back for a nice fall. The skirt is lined with a green moire silk lining and tan cotton and has one hidden pocket. CONDITION The outfit is in very good condition. The bodice has small area of wear on front opening of its velvet collar. Slight light underarm stains discoloration on inside lining of bodice only, and two small rips in lining around collar.   The skirt is in fair/good condition, with no stains, with large inner lining splits in silk moire that has been stabilized with fabric tape decades ago. The tape now has become loose and separated. Small holes scattered about in skirt. Some repairs and roughness with holes and splits on hemline lining of skirt.  MEASUREMENTS BODICE Bust 27 inches, Waist 22 inches, Puffed curved sleeve length 24 inches, Across back 11 inches,                                                                                              Shoulder to bottom of waist 17 inches, Underarm to Waist 9 inches, Shoulder to bottom hem line 59 inches, SKIRT Waist 24 inches, Front length 42 inches, Back length 42 inches.
