Set of four vintage cobalt blue pressed glass sherbet cups with matching underplates , produced during the Depression era to early mid-20th century (circa 1930s–1940s) . These pieces were machine-pressed in multi-part molds , as evidenced by visible mold seams and consistent mold parting marks on all four cups. After molding, the glass was acid-etched to create the floral panel decoration seen on the cup sides and in the center of each plate. This combination of pressed glass with post-production etching was a common and cost-effective manufacturing method used by American glassmakers during the Depression period.
