Rare Set of 3 Vintage Mid-Century Gnome / Elf Ornaments This is a delightful matching set of three hand-painted figurines, each featuring a built-in wire loop on the back for hanging as Christmas tree ornaments or wall decor. They are full of mid-century "kitsch" charm and have wonderful, expressive faces. ​Gnome with Pipe: Wearing a red hat and light blue coat. ​Gnome with Lantern: Wearing a pink/purple hat and green suit. ​Jolly Gnome: Standing in a classic pose with a green hat and red suit. ​Made in Japan ​ 1950s - 1960s ​Size: Approx. 3.5 – 4 inches ​These are vintage items with "shabby chic" character. There is visible paint loss and "cold paint" chipping, especially on the hats and noses (please see close-up photos). ​No cracks or breaks in the material.
