Here's a rare early hand thrown marbled or mottled redware pitcher from the mid 1800s....this primitive American made pottery pitcher has an unusual ovoid shape with low waist....applied strap handle...big pinched pour spout with rings around rim....orange colored redware with mottled streaks in the pottery or slip....5 3/4"tall....Excellent condition with only some small shallow chips on edge of rim; no other damage.
