FRENCH BELGIAN MARBLE CLOCK GARNITURE This handsome garniture comprising a clock and raised urns is crafted in polished black Belgian marble accented with rich rouge marble inlays. All of the pieces are embellished with finely engraved and gilt-incised foliate decoration. The clock resides in a case with an arched pediment and scrolling side accent pieces, over an elongated, slightly angular plinth base. Within, an eight-day mechanical movement keeps the time and strikes a bell at the hour and half-hour. The time displays on the black Belgian marble dial appointed with gilt engraved Roman numerals and gilt trident style hands. A beaded and embossed gilt bezel frames and accents the dial beautifully. This fine-looking clock garniture will display nicely along any mantel, or among myriad settings and decor. 14"H × 18'W × 5 1/2"D Clock, estimate. TOP 10 1/2"H × 6 1/4'W x4"D Urns, estimate.
