Interior is a little over 4.25" wide and 5.5" tall. Case ONLY, interior empty except for the maker paper label. Case does close with essentially flush edges/seam but as you can see it has a mild warp. WARPED Littlefield Parsons Daguerreotype Union 1/2 Half Plate Case ONLY EMPTY Gutta Percha ---  Interior is a little over 4.25" wide and 5.5" tall. Case ONLY, interior empty except for the maker paper label.  Hinges still attached but with some play.  Case does close with essentially flush edges/seam but as you can see it has a mild warp.  Case does latch shut if halves are aligned for the interior catches.  As noted the hinges while still attached are not firmly attached and have play (see the photos where I intentionally separate both halves at each hinge so you can see the degree.
