Offered is a  beautiful early 20th-century Valentine postcard  published by  Raphael Tuck & Sons , featuring a charming illustration  attributed to and signed Ellen Clapsaddle , one of the most celebrated postcard artists of the Golden Age. The richly detailed chromolithograph depicts a  young boy in period dress carrying armfuls of red and brown hearts , with additional hearts scattered at his feet. The printed verse reads: “My devoted heart is thine Thee I love my Valentine.” The lower border is boldly lettered  “To My Valentine,”  making this a classic and highly collectible romantic greeting from the Edwardian era. Ellen Clapsaddle (1863–1934)  was one of the most prolific and beloved postcard illustrators of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, best known for her sentimental depictions of children, holidays, and romance. Her work appeared frequently on postcards issued by major publishers, including Raphael Tuck & Sons. Cards  signed with her name  are especially sought after by collectors, as they represent her most recognizable and enduring designs.
